CD-R rip of the tape released earlier this year by this Mexican Black/Heavy Metal band. All the titles & lyrics are inspired by Mayan mythology and history. They’ve been around since 1992. Played in the style of Bathory & Samael, and maybe a hint of (early) Darkthrone without the obvious-ness of being another “Darkclone” band.

(((1))) Hissing voice, slow, minor chord guitars giving off that classic intro style.
((((2))))) Raw, simple Black/Heavy Metal style ‘ala mid-period Bathory, early Samael, and even Root with some cool chords & soloing.
((((3))))) More hissing weirdness and giallo movie like claustrophobia in this interlude.
((((((4)))))) Somewhat typical but fast & ugly yet catchy Black Metal. Raspy vocals sounding like a even lower-fi version of Quorthon or Sodom’s Tom Angelripper, buried drums, loud lo-fi guitar. Very cool sustained notes and well done repeated phrases.
(((((5))))) Fast but pulls back a bit, lots of blur, buzz & blasphemy. Some trippy dive bombers and other guitar effects & wild soloing.
