Mini CD-ep of smoking prog with a rough edge: Think Sun City Girls, Mahavishnu Orchestra and (as the one sheet says) Black Flag (huh?). All instrumental drums bass with guitar taking control and weaving head spinning yarns and tapestries. Whoa, pass the dust, I think I’m King Crimson Coleman. All tracks great!! SMOKIN’!!
1) primo prog, mid paced off time guitar noodles predominate, with drums/bass on the level of King Crimson et al
2) fast paced upbeat double time prog that shifts meters here and there with a smoking drum solo toward end
3) blazing 17-15th-8.07th time, wtf? Adopts a heavy beat here and there, man!
4) total spazz Ornette Coleman meets the Sun City Girls type blazing free improve, whew!!
