Rocking blues from Johnny & the Boys. Harp heavy, electric guitar soloing, strong bass and drum beats. Think barroom blues, fun, loud and rockin’. No FCC’s.
*My Favorites*: 1, 6, 9, 10.
1. *(3:41) Mid / Fast. Heavy drumming, ominous electric guitar, mean harp. Loud, rockin’ blues.
2. (2:49) Mid / Fast. Guitar, vocal intro. Crunchy guitar, harp solo leads to sparse instrumentation phrase. Big finish.
3. (3:49) Mid / Fast. Stop / start phrasings throughout, with one section slowed down featuring guitar and harp showcases.
4. (4:17) Mid. Black Sabbath-like intro. Sparse, loud, dirge. Hendrix, Zeppelin, Sabbath influences. (Lyrics by Fleetwood Mac’s Peter Green).
5. (3:18) Mid. Harp showcase, guitar solos, steady, plodding beat. INSTRUMENTAL.
6. *(2:54) Fast. Rockin’ blues features loud, wailing harp and guitar.
