Album Review

Reviewed 2010-09-28
epic balls to the wall stoner rock. big time delay, distorition, riffage & plumage. even the vocals are good. all types of freaky space rock & psyche turned up to eleven. heads up gears & gamma. try their first album as well: riyl: bardo pond, acid mothers temple, kinski. fcc clean. brick.

1- balls to the wall riff, galloping drumbeat, menacing bassline, anthemic echoing vocals & cathartic resolution to melody. stoner rock anthem.
2- rad minor key space-kraut rock w/ swooshing lazer sounds & guitar wailing
3- hard guitars, whiskey wailing vocalist 'we don't care' & stoner metal groove in 3. heavy build to the end.
4- 13 minutes of heavy, trance enducing space rock in delay pedal city. an 11 minute wait for the crescendo.
5- loose, watery, meandering psychedelic percussion & structure
6- gorgeous martian space guitar drone. heavy, gooey & fantastic
7- fucking epic man. a 13 minute bath in layers of wailing psychedelic guitars, wailing about leaving the world behind & blasting the amps to infinity. last minute is quiet outro. dead air alert around -0:25
