New LP from this KILLER Portland Metal-Punk-Crust band. This time out they’ve changed considerably with guitarist Rachel Nakanishi also taking up vocals and bass. The vocals are in the distance but there’s plenty of focused rage. Her voice reminds me a bit of Laurie Sue from Ludicra. Ideally, this would work best if the vocal mix was more balanced. Otherwise, great & rather loud guitars & low end sound. Good to hear them take on longer songs (vs. last years demo which was mostly 2-3 minute tracks).

(((((1))))) Slow intro, big bassy build up. Then blasts out with catchy and shouted vocals. Has some great charging tempo and very nice riffs & screamin’.
((((2))))) Rudimentary crust & bombast with fast & aggressive playing around and plenty of pissed off vocals.
(((((3))))) More variation in the vocals (and they become a little more comprehensible) with the near-Black Metal-ish sound. Has a really solid and kinda melodic, driving sound.
(((((((4))))))) Storming the gates Crusty Metal awesomeness! A good mix of what they did on their more Sacrilege UK influenced demo and their current sound.
((((((((5)))))))) Nice, mid-paced & seriously HEAVY! Gets faster and a bit Black Metal/modern Heavy Metal in a odd but excellent mix of Saros and Ludicra. This would sound killer live.
(((((((6)))))) Fast & furious, great double pickslide, drumming & riffs. Good lyrics about against sexism as well. Slow fade end.
(((((7)))))) Tight main riff, great thick sound, call & response chorus and a mini-solo. Abrupt end.
((((8)))) Melodic intro, big riffs, some chaos between the vocals and cymbals but overall good playing. Plus, mid-way through the vocals become a little more clear.
