Loud in-your-face punk from the ever-crazy five-piece Satàn (SAH-TAHN). Like a French version of X. All lyrics are in English except the song “Loin de Moi,” which is all in French. A great debut EP from across the pond.
ALL SONGS ARE FCC CLEAN
*1. Rumbling gritty guitars, minor chords, loud drums and lots of snarled male and female vocals.
2. Mid tempo guitar-oriented romp with oddly carefree lyrics. Lots of Pixies influences.
*3. A harsh, high-pitched siren leads into thrashing guitars and screamed lyrics. A pretty heavy song, with a surprising amount of hooks and a really catchy chord progression.
4. Grungy French ballad with sparse instrumentation.
