take note fellow bladerunners: you will love this. a combo of girl group garage/brills&droning shoegaze dream pop.
featuring frankie rose of the dum dum girls&crystal stilts.
one of the best of last year(released late 2010)
RIYL: dum dum girls, vivian girls, crystal stilts, best coast, agent ribbons, shaggs, ace of cups, mbv, lush, jesus&mary chain, echodrone, tamaryn, no joy, black ryder, velvets, spector, etc.
FCC CLEAN.
SUGGESTIONS: ANYTRACK=GOODTRACK. esp. 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9,
*1. BEST TRACK: organ heavy&oceanic, the vox coo in softly=coma lovely. (slow breathing)
2. poppy bubblegum, gets chimey at end.
*3. driving&ecstatic. la femme jesus&mary chain. bleeds into..
*4. this. back to breathy#1's siren call effect. strummy 60's git folk pop w/country tinge. organ is more subtle.
*5. smashy, bashy psych pop momentum.
