Wake Up Sid Released in 2009 Wake Up Sid is Bollywood director Ayan Mukherje’s debut film that proved to be a huge success, including the music track. Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy are the music composers of this film. BTW Ehsaan studied music in LA and he plays the guitar in the group. Look for lots of guitar and rock music influence in this album. All the songs are good in this album. Pick any. 1. Wake Up Sid (3.51) Guitar dominates. Starts slow & then the chorus & guitar give it a peppy edge. 2. Kya Karoon? (3.56) Starts slow & picks up the tempo. Foot-tapping melody. 3. Aaj Kail ZIndagi (4.15) Melodic tune with soaring male vocals. 4. Iktara (4.14) Powerful female vocal supported by a male voice. Listen for the mesmerizing musical refrain. 5. Life Is Crazy (3.42) Crooning - that is the word that comes to mind when listening to this upbeat & fun song. 6. Wake Up Sid (club remix): Club remix is a new trend in Bollywood films, where they create a danceable track from one of the originals.
