Peepli Live is a Bollywood film released in August 2010. This track does not have the usual Bollywood sound. Instead it is a beautiful mix of traditional & folks sounds from India along with acoustic guitar & drums. Try 1, 3, 4, 5, 6. 1. Des Mera sung by Indian Ocean, a 20 year independent musicband from India). Mix of traditional Indian & folk music. Listen to traditional Indian musical scale played on a electric guitar. Great song. 2. This song falls under the Indian folk song category. Performed by singers from a village they sing about the runaway price inflation thatis ruining their lives. 3. Performed by Indian Ocean. Stirring sounds almost like a wake-up song that questions if you are afraid of living. Listen to the electric guitar riffs. Like this song. 4.
