This debut album of Aram Shelton Quartet has lots of free,
energetic & modern improvisation.
Try 1, 2,4,5
1. Bright sound.Lots of interesting riffs by the sax players.
2. Like the peppy opening sounds & the riffs
b/w the sax & clarinet.
3. Plenty of improvisation. Modern.
4. The opening notes hint at a familiar Mambo inspired tune & then the modern sounds take over.
5. Drummer take center stage for the first minute & then the horn players come in. Slow,mid-tempo & fast.
6. Long.Starts bright & peppy & then slows down.
Lots of free improvisation.
