Trance dance / krautrock. Commanding, intense, bizarre prog/psyche-tinged space-rage + looped electro. Not “heavy electro”, but HEAVY. Very Trans Am, but requiring a bit more of your attention. Like, rock-in-your-face attention. Remember The Horrors’ first record? Uh-huh. Twinkranes are three guys from Dublin who could have stepped right out of The Man Who Fell To Earth. (Check out the one with the bleach-blond mop.) This is hypnotic, wicked, scary-clown confrontational stuff. The vocals are basically Dexter Holland’s on “Pay the Man”. I wish I could come up with a better comparison. Wow.

*1. starts rough and fades in and out. ~17 sec in you’ve got fast drums, rockin bass, trans am twinkling keys. rapid and punchy. space noise. danceable in an elbows-as-hinges sort of way.
2. punishing high-pitched eerie keys and googley-eyed chanty vox. medieval carnival lurch. the title says it all.
*3. big dark blaring barrel synth riff. deepy, creepy. unrelenting tribal drums. themesong for the corpse that haunts the swamp.
4. hard, fast. sounds like ladytron. gulfs of space noise, washy lasers, and murmuring breaks from intensity. a big, long, rambling adventure.
5. hella syncopated jupiter synth solo action. cute guitar hero interlude... which is probably also played on a synth.
6. joy divisiony stilted minor guitar line + echoey keys. brassy synth + snare. chanty vox. gets bashy in the last minute.
*7. angular, bloppy rude & fast synth bass. oh, this is chilly as fuck. witchy vox, deep drops, venom. fucking insects crawling all over these riffs. this track freaks me the hell out. whoa. what a ride.
