corin tucker's solo project. ex-slater-kinney.
a few spots work for me, but for the most part=not.
RIYL: slater-kinney, liz phair (my future celebrity wife!), belly, throwing muses, cat power, et al.
FCC CLEAN.
SUGGESTIONS: (NOTE: 1&2 PLAY AS ONE TRACK, DISCREPANCY BTWN TRACK LISTING ON BACK COVER. so i'm writing descriptions for tracks 1-10.) 1, 4, 5, 8,
*1. BEST TRACK: fuzz git open. sweet&heartbreaking. liz phairish.
2. swirly, off rhythm.
3. throwing muses. hypnotic gits.
*4. electric piano. sad song, the sound is just depressy. picks up..kinda..but it likes to stay in it's lull, w/glitchiness and all.
*5. rocks out ala s-l & versus. kinda p.j. harvey vox.
6. sweet git. throwing muses. violins come in.
7. juliana hatfield. rocks at begin.
*8. NEXT BEST TRACK: wafting quality. then it starts to rock and buzz in momentum. (kinda sounds like 'rebel girl')
9. piano! -i like piano! this is sweet. then it gets rockin =which...kills it.
10. loops begin. song like most of the songs. soft-to-rock.
