WINTERPILLS -- "TUXEDO OF ASHES" -- Wonderfully beautiful melodic instruments and harmonies. Very peaceful and calming, without putting you to sleep . . . usually!!
Best Tracks: 6, 2, 3. -- Sunshine January 2011

*** 1) Are You Sleeping (Cinnamon, Cardamon, Lithium)? -- Pretty instruments and harmonies, although lyrics are stalker-esque! But it is a pretty song.
****+ 2) Feed the Spider -- Beautiful strings. Comforting male vocals. Picks up energy.
**** 3) Hallway (The Top of the Velvety Stairs) -- Classical guitar with slightly mysterious vibe. Rather sneaky male vocals.
*** 4) The Ballad f the Anxious Decoder -- Cool rhythms, but comparatively boring.
** 5) A Magnet -- to the Light! -- Folksy female vocals. Many lovely harmonies, but rather lilting. Slow paced.
***** 6) Tuxedo of the Ashes -- Folk acoustic guitar. Like "If I Had A Hammer" by Peter, Paul and Mary. Good campfire or revival sing-along song. Pretty vocal harmonies. The longer I listened to it, the more and more I enjoyed it. ;-D
