Lo-fi electronic ambient/x. Psychedelic hypnotic Nintendo 64-core. Abstract, instrumental, 8-bit electrosynth keyboards, pads, Casios, fake pianos, For fans of James Ferraro, Oneohtrix Point Never, Rangers, and all the great cassette synth shit HYPRK’s been adding lately. This is a compilation release on Olde English Spelling Bee, whose roster includes Ferraro, Rangers, Ducktails, Julian Lynch, Mouthus, Robedoor, Autre Ne Veut, and other heroes. No FCCs. All are interesting, hard to recommend tracks.
1. Lo-fi blaring synth hypnotism shrouded in 80s textures. Aquarium Nintendo keyboard Ferraro-isms. (5:36)
2. Space synths, persistent buzz, cosmic early 90s galaxy arcade time. (3:33)
3. Acid laser beams projected on the distant space worlds of tripping the fuck out. Some fake piano in there too. (5:28)
4. Blippy flarey high pitched tones, buzzy fuzzy drone keyboards. (3:01)
5. Aquatic east Asian mellow feel. (2:41)
6. Eerie, dark, layered looped synth blips, layered looped synth patterns interwoven, tense ending. (5:44)
7. Pretty pretty delayed synth lines over programmed melodic loveliness. (1:13)
8. Japanese tea garden on psychedelic drugs. (2:40)
9. Chill relaxation, waves crashing, calming, beautiful consonant synthscape. (3:02)
10. More distant sustained looping delayed bubbly oceanic feel. (4:05)
11. 2 chords blared while knob twiddling space-laden synths sustain jabbing upper register solos. (3:23)
12. Droning beautiful ambience, soft bass creeps in. So lovely. (2:35)
