Dream rock, fuzzed out blissful female vocal-fronted. Soaring echoey Boomeranged psychey guitars, chimey, big bass and narcoleptic drums, restrained female vocals. What might come out the other side of a goat if you fed it My Bloody Valentine, Lush, Early Cure, JAMC, Mazzy Star, Crime and the City Solution, Luna, Bowery Electric, 18th Dye, Yo La Tengo, Ride, Swell, Medicine, Swirlies, Th’ Faith Healers, Lost in Translation soundtrack. Fuck, this is about as perfect dream/noise rock, indie rock as it gets. This is what Ivo, Simon and Robyn from 4AD records hear in their dreams before they wake up in monstrous puddles of steaming heady semen. Pick any, all tracks much better than methadone, many are almost as good as sex.
1) mid slow dreamy swinging, with soaring 2 note guitar theme/hook
2) chilled out dreamy, restrained
3) strummy and almost upbeat
4) very MBV’ish with distant layered guitar, breathy vocs in front, slow trancelike, no drums
5) pretty and melodic, dense layers of dreamy guitar, tribal understated drums
6) psychey flare with tambourine, slower and a bit more chill
7) more upbeat, midpaced almost head noddy, pretty guitar noodles
8) big heavy plodding dramatic feel, a slight eastern tone with bells/tambourine, very dense and dreamy, track blends directly into next so either put on continuous and pot down or play with next (otherwise you will get a nasty cold ending)
9) mid paced dream pop perfection, wow (I hear Joy Division basslines, and very early U2 guitar licks, dating me)
