A special 7" made and distributed for Record Store Day by Cage the Elephant, a group of three alt-rock whippersnappers from Bowling Green, Kentucky. Cage the Elephant has enjoyed a lot of success on both the US Rock and UK charts. Lots of 90's garage influence here, but presented with polished production. Great stuff. Both sides FCC Clean

A- The leading single from the upcoming LP "Thank You Happy Birthday." Rip-roaring guitarwork, perfect percussion arrangements, and frantic Frank Black-esque vocals. A nice mellow bridge, and then it's back off to growling garage rock. Awesome.

B- Crisply-produced alt-rock with a catchy chorus that's instantly likeable, if a bit predictable. Lots of sprawling beds of messy guitarwork and delicious rough emotional vocals with a bit of a country twang. A bit darker than it's Side A counterpart Great.
