Delirio En El Pozo De Excrementos (Fear Of Decapitations Mix)
What the...? Whoever thought Machetazo, Spain's premiere gore-themed grindcore band, would have two songs "remixed"? Well, it's happened, and the brutal heaviness of the grindcore has been amplified and taken in a completely different direction by the other contributing artists. Essentially, the music itself becomes secondary, or at least a counterpart to, the noisy elements of it--that is, the feedback and massive distortion necessary to make good grindcore. These two noise artists have remixed the tracks to make it more of a sonic statement and less strictly musical. Mindbending, shrieking heaviness ensues.|
1. Swirling masses of noise and reverb start the track, then give way to more straight grinding, but the “remix” element still remains. Weird, feedbacky/ambient part intertwines.
2. Noise intro, then the grinding starts but is kept at bay volume-wise until it comes thundering back in. Waves of distortion are laid over the basic, heavy riffs.
