A track each from six rising St. Louis, MO indie musicians. Very solid production for a local project of this sort. A range of styles, but we get a good taste of a "St. Louis sound" in the particular Uncle Tupelo legacy twang. FCC 6; 2 and 3 are my favorites, but check it all out. —Andy
1 - uptempo, soulful, bluegrassy acoustic alt-country
*2 - melancholy Kozelek-brand acoustic folk; gorgeous guitar sound and chorus hook
*3 - great rowdy Uncle Tupelo alt-country rock and roll
4 - imploring post-punk-revival; male-vox Yeah Yeah Yeahs
5 - singer-songwriter; edgy female vocals, biting lyrics
*6 - FCC "shit"; full-bodied country/bar rock, smart lyrics and nice backing vox
