Refreshingly lighthearted noise rock that strikes a nice balance between unified song structure and chaos. Both tracks are long, but keep the listener engaged throughout. Production isn’t great, there are musical mistakes here and there, and sometimes you feel a little lost. But these are strengths as well as weaknesses. Sometimes an overdriven noise-rock expedition is just what you need, and this album serves up the goods without being pretentious or alienating the listener. Both tracks are good, but beware of the volume during the first few minutes of #1. RIYL: The Dead C, Die Princess Die, noisiness. No FCC’s.

1. (14:42) Unruly, shrill noise kicks it off, but then some dirty-as-hell guitar loopage comes in over a driving drum beat. Oddly happy chord progression.
2. (16:16) Noisy, echoey noise exploration founded on a sly, bluesy guitar riff. Some panicky vocals echo behind to create a swirling “down the rabbit hole” feel.
