Politically-charged ska/punk a la Rancid, but with English accents and horns. Shouted vox, often anthemic choruses. Predictable but fun. Former members of Subhumans (early 80s hardcore band) on Jello Biafra’s (Dead Kennedys) label.

Best tracks: 01, 03, 05, 10

***01 Shelf Life (2:51): classic punk/ska w/ horns
02 Free Speech (4:10) NOT FCC CLEAN: somber opening, explodes; nice breakdown
***03 Human Conditioner (3:12): swingy/shuffley, anthemic chorus
04 Overseas (3:32): driving punk
***05 Better (3:38): mid-tempo ska
06 Click (3:24): slower, groove, deep horn, punky break
07 How Far Does It Go? (3:01) NOT FCC CLEAN: mostly punk, no horns, ska bridge
08 Insane (3:34): back to ska/punk, anthemic chorus
09 Marker Pen (2:52): ditto, back & forth vox w/ another singer
***10 Fearless (3:47): old-school ska, nice single horn
11 Discomfort Zone (3:17): back to ska/punk, nice high hat work
12 Spotless (2:29): more of the same, straight-forward, short
13 Wake Up (4:06) NOT FCC CLEAN: more of the same, dramatic horn arrangement
