Folksy, slightly waif-y smoky-voiced chanteuse. She's not bad, in fact, she's rather mighty, although these two sparse tracks indicate her song catalogue might be interesting. Marling has a good range, although the inevitable Adele/Dido comparisons may come to mind. These songs sound as though they were demos. I'd like to hear her in a more-produced setting, 'cause she beats the sh%t outta Jewel, IMO. B-side is a cover of an old Neil classic.
