Local sound sculptor Xtopher lays 11 tracks of subtle creepy drones and loops and aural splashes and splatters. Dreamy and creepy, droning and exploding. Veering toward avante it still keeps its feet in the old school noise/drone camp. Latest release from local Mills College associated artist who has been producing music for over 20 years, either as Antimatter or collaborations, or as a mixing/mastering/producer for Asphodel Records (“Mixture 151”) and other noted releases, including the recent Lumerians record.

3) (3:29) oscillating noise grows rumbling and droning
4) (5:05) chill and creepy drones grow noisier toward end
5) (8:14) pleasant tone over the drone ends midway reverting to low noise/drone, nice, cold start
6) (6:45) creepy noises, harsh but cool n a sci-fi manner
7) (3:50) a very nice droney piece
8) (5:18) creepy feel, spooky with cool sounds slowly appearing toward end
9) (10:55) very slow buildup to layered textured sounds, noises, chills out 2/3 way through, epic
10) (3:07) watery sounds, splashy with drone, weirdness blends into next track nicely
11) (9:21) comes out of previous with a good drone, shifts 2/3 through, more chill
