Male vocals against a twangy, folky, and sometimes cheery musical backdrop. Some interesting variety and well-executed overall, with a few surprisingly fun tracks and several soft, whispery mid/slow ones.
FCC on 6, 10. *1. Up. Catchy, quick melody. Has a “goddamn”, in case that offends. 2. Mid. Plodding melody and wistful, dreamy vocals. *3. Up. All-out, frenetic singing with lots of energy and playfulness. 4. Slow. Mournful and soft vocals, with peaceful instrumentation. 5. Mid/slow. Depressed melody, but bittersweetly so. 6. Up. Quick, controlled, and almost playful anger. FCC: shit. 7. Mid/slow. Rhythmic, whispering, hardly cheerful. 8. Mid. Relaxed melody and gentle vocals. *9. Up. Quick, falling, toe-tapping beat with a catchy melody. 10. Slow. Unremarkable, quiet, depressed. FCC: shitting. 11. Mid/up. Moderately cheery. | ||
