If you like listening to Ali Fourka Toure or Umou Sangare, you will for sure like this album.
All the numbers in this album are worth a listen. The word mesmerizing is a good way to describe the album. Try 1, 2,6, 7, 9, 10.
1. Mid-tempo, folksy tune.
2. Modern sounding. Catchy tune about love.
3. Mid-tempo, mesmerizing tune about life.
4. Lovey & mesmerizing tune.
5. Bit on the slow side. Listen to the Bombino’s guitar.
6. This song hooks you right in from the opening chord.
Very interesting how the guitar, clapping & the words blend it.
7. Another catchy tune. A bit pensive perhaps because he’s
talking about another life?
8. A bit on the pensive side. Nice.
9. A song about peace. Lovely tune.
10. Nice upbeat opening. The vocals sound mellow.
