Blues singer/songwriter/pianist, for fans of Tom Waits, Nick Cave,
Leonard Cohen, Townes Van Zandt. From his bio it sounds like he
has lived the Blues. His "in-depth research" for this album started
at 12 in South Asia. In & out of reformatories winding up a resident
of New Havens Whalley Ave and like places across the country.
***1: 4:32 slow then fast, nice singing
2: 4:20 slow, vocal, mournful sax
***3: 2:42 mid then goes to faster, with horns, guitar, fem vocal.
4: 7:41 slow, almost a dirge, fuzz guitar, "Daddy's On Death Row"
***5: 3:50 upbeat number but the lyrics are about the street.
6: 3:33 slow
