as reviewed by mr. esq. neo-bladerunnercore/girl group revival/psych/garage. brooklyn queens of the genre. much more produced than previous lo-fi works. has the fuzzed out distortion psych that makes this mandatory for any bladerunnercore show (don't argue with me abra.) this is one of the best albums this year. SOUNDS LIKE: dum dum girls, frankie rose&the outs, splinters, best coast, aislers set, holly go lightly, shangri la's, et al. FCC CLEAN. MR. ESQ. SEZ: MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW! 1. MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW: gallopy begin. goes into slowed garage psych fare. long track for the genre. flowers start growing... 2. MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW: holy singing nun harmonies. sad surfy stuff. 3. MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW: upbeat& sweet. 4. MEOW MEOW MEOW: it's bad news, baby. 5. MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW:kick ass drums. sad end. 6. MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW: cover of the green on red song. garage punk at it's best&most melodramatic. (they own it now. p.s. don't argue with me.) 7. MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW: girls talking tune. aloways funny. happy, upbeat. shaggsish. 8. MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW: back to the melodrama! sergio leone western surf git. (it's gonna end bad.) 9. MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW: (it ended bad) 10. MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW: the ending is the best part. like first track, it's long. starts out sad, destroyed. but...then... -it rocks out of it's depressy! organ comes in after halfway. distorto git crash ends it all.
