This Mississippi duo has a stripped-down, hazy, and aggressive approach to rock, reminiscent of the Ramones and late 60s garage rock. Their songs are short and sweet, most clocking in around 3 minutes or less with chunky drums, huge guitar riffs, distorted vocals (like they’re being yelled over a telephone line) and catchy choruses. The whole album has a similar feel, with #6 standing out in its atmospheric dirgy-ness. FCC clean. Try #1, #2, #5 or #11

1) **Rocking, aggressive intro-track with accessible pop format – a real kick in the nutz, 2) *Very Ramones influenced snarling pop-punk tune/title track, 3) 4-4 beat and tweaking guitars, 4) something about a velvet itch in his jeans? Cheeky. Stomping drums and cymbals and bawdy lyrics with distorted vocals, 5) **tight melodic romp with nice back-up vocals, 6) *atmospheric dirgy stomp with looping guitar figure, 7) like a more lo-fi Weezer with 60s era pop style, 8) churning guitars and pop-punk groove, 9) plodding tune with big drums and snarling repetitive guitar riff, 10) melodic and swirling kinda like My Bloody Valentine/Jesus Mary Chain, but with those Ramones 1-2, 1-2 drums, 11) *song about getting it on with religious girls – has kinda a Velvet Underground drone and sassiness with more expressive vocals than other songs
