No frills Latin jazz featuring some solid performances, especially vocals, percussion, and violin. Mixed in are Latin takes on American classics, especially a tribute to Sinatra (track 4). It doesn’t all work, but when it does it it’s pretty good. Stick with the starred tracks.

*1. Nicely wiggly salsa w/some good vocals.
2. Bright and stylish w/a light touch. Upbeat then more relaxed.
*3. Latin jazz take on a funk classic.
4. Frankie goes to Cuba w/this cha cha cha version of his hits.
*5. Sweet violin drives this mid/upbeat jazz jam w/some good horns.
6. Big and brassy jam w/lots of percussion, horns, strings.
7. M/F vocal duet in a mid/upbeat Latin jazz funk love son.
*8. Sweet and romantic then driving and fiery. Nice arrangement.
9. Electric violin leads into an upbeat jam. Not the best track.
*10. Cha cha cha version of Beyond the Sea. Kitchy but kinda fun.
11. Driving salsa jazz w/lead violin.
