Indie rock, pop, folk stuff on this 5 song EP. Based out of New York, Matt grew up in northern New Hampshire. Really cool sounding songs. Upbeat and bright with Matt on lead vocals and guitar. Guitars, bass, drums, keys, lap steel. No FCC’s. *My Favorites*: All are great. 1. (3:34) Mid. Heavy drum beat, cool strummed guitar, voice a bit back in the mix. Upbeat and catchy. 2. (4:03) Mid. Peppy with heavy plodding beat, cool keys and guitar. 3. (3:11) Mid. Easy-going, folky with Matt sharing vocals with Ariel Abshire. Cool lap steel, drums, guitar, keys. 4. (5:21) Mid. Mellowy upbeat with nice acoustic guitar, tambourine, shakers, drums. 5. (4:33) Mid. Upbeat drum beat. Backing vocals, bright lap steel. Very cool. Almost an Allman Brothers feel halfway through. | ||
