Local (Oakland) band give a serious nod to classic songwriting and rock, cite bands like the VU, Soft Boys, Chills as their influences and I can see that. Some more reverby and dreamy vocaled moments smack of psyche. Male vocs, sweet guitar, bass drums. Who needs more. Self recorded with janky heads and tails so take note. Fans of Galaxy 500 and Dream Syndicate might take note too.

1) (2:30) simple rock, sweet guitar with a really cool noise/soundbed that comes through in end
2) (4:41) jangly reverby and wooly mammoth fuzz makes this decidedly psyche, and great CAREFUL: track ends with 1:30 left!!
3) (3:32) simple strummy guitar that reminds me of a very simple sonic youth song with Daniel Johnson singing/writing
4) (3:54) another simple strummy thing, with nice chorus, really great
5) (3:08) simple jangle a la Galaxy 500 comes to mind with an epic pop hook chorus that could’ve been an AM hit in 1968
6) (3:36) nice dense vocals, backups, reminding me of great stuff by Lovechild, epic pop
