22-yr old Robert Ellis of Texas dropped out of school, took music lessons for a year &
cut his teeth singing well-known country songs with his band called Whiskey Wednesdays.
Ellis cut his first album in 2009, & “Photographs” is his second, a beautifullycrafted albumthat is largely autobiographical. The album should be called “Beautiful Sounds.”All songs work in this albums.

1. Smokey voice & beautiful melody abt friendship. 2. Bit of a sad melody with beautiful lyrics.3. Starts off soft & whimsical. Song abt “Cemetry” so expectsome melancholy. 4. Delicate guitar & strident piano chords open this whimsical song.5. Starts slow & then like the train picks up steam. 6.Peppy song abt that oft-repeated theme -comin’ home. But, this one sounds diff. 7. Love song -every country album needs to have one, right?8.Another love song filled with promises & undyinglove that magically works. It is Ellis’s voice that does the magic. 10. Upbeat.Fast. Listen to the lyrics, they are not all that nice. He is talking abt cheating & what he’d do.
