Intricate jammy indie rock from highly-acclaimed Austin, TX four-piece. Lots of different musical flavors, detailed percussion parts, and long bridges. Elements of 60s psychedelia, blues, and prog rock fuse together to create a palette of sounds that will please fans of Little Feat and the Grateful Dead, as well as more contemporary groups like Walt Mink, Tea Leaf Green, Tame Impala and the Black Keys. FCC CLEAN
1. Loud and jammy with big drums, a growling bass, and fuzzed out washes of guitar. A bit of Southern seasoning.
2. Bouncy with guitar noodling and soft crooning vocals.
3. Instrumental. A slow intro leads into a swirling storm of psychedelic guitar. The solos get really good toward the end.
*4. Slow and somber with fragile vocals. Feels much more polished than the rest of the album.
*5. Blistering off-kilter tempo with crazy guitar arpeggios and some standout solos.
*6. Lively flutes and tropical vibes. Summery and sun-bleached with a nice uptempo rhythm.
*7. Upfront and powerful. Heavy drums, and excellent guitar solos. TLG fans will love this one for sure.
*8. Snarled lyrics with a splash of punk—a nice technical bridge keeps things interesting.
*9. A lush intro leads into a powerful blues rock anthem.
10. Acoustic, twangy. With a jaunty rhythm, fiddle and slide guitars.
