We Must Become the Pitiless Censors of Ourselves- John Maus
Lots of synth. 80s feel to a lot of the music. Deep, distant vocals. Some upbeat, some chill. Check out 1, 4, 5, 8, and 11. FCC clean

**1. Streetlight (2:53)- Descending arpeggios on harpsichord sounding synth. Echo-y vocals. Trippy
2. Quantum Leap (2:53)- bouncy bass, 80s feel. Deep, creepy vocals. Warm sounding chorus
3. …And the Rain (2:47)- More 80s feel synth and echo-y vocals
**4. Hey Moon (4:09)- Chill, warm arpeggios. Mellow, nice tune
**5. Keep Pushing On (3:34)- The tune ricochets in a wave-like way. Trippy
6. The Crucifix (1:16)- Blend of baroque-ish sounding synth. Mumbling vocals
7. Head For the Country (3:17)- get ready for some irritating high-pitched tones right at the beginning. Experimenting with a lot of different tones throughout
**8. Cop Killer (2:42)- Drums start right off, followed by dark-sounding arpeggios. Dramatic feel to it. Cool.
9. Matter of Fact (2:17)- More baroque-ish sounding tune in beginning at least. Bouncy bass. The tune is kinda catchy and irritating
10. We Can Breakthrough (2:08)- The tune is kinda all over the place. Kinda trippy. Don’t know what to make of the song….
**11. Believer (4:05)- Wow sounds much different in beginning, like punk rock. But then synth of course comes right in. Steady beat. I like it
