COLL: Liebe Detail #38 Label: Liebe Detail Lovebirds is the solo project of Hamburg resident Sebastian ‘Basti’ Doering. He has release on lables such as winding road, freerange, and buzzin fly. His style and production are of deep house and midtempo beats. Kink (Strahil Velchev) of Sofia, Bulgaria is a very eclectic electronic music producer. He is know for making his music with analog gear such as 909's and 303's. Half-Swedish/half British artist Leif is based in the UK. In the past few years, Leif has forged a reputation for his trademark sound - a blend that encompasses elements of deep / tech-house, vocal house, bleepy funk, delicate chord soundscapes and enough garage & chicago-style shuffle to to keep the dancefloor moving. All tracks are good but #2 is the standout. 1) Shuffled beats,sparse male vox. Dubbed/stripped down version of the original. 2) Broken beats over beautiful chords. Male vox sample and a beefy bassline. 3) Rising synth pads over a solid house beat.Shuffled hi hats and chord stabs. Dramatic strings come in and out through the rest of the song to give it a deeper feel. | ||
