Fourth release from Oregon based three-piece of guitar, bass, drums playing indie pop rock, surf, r’n’r. Great catchy stuff with some fun, weird, clever, interesting lyrics. Sounds like Louie XIV, Electric Six. No FCC’s. *My Favorites*: 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, 10, 13, 14, 15. 1. *(3:55) Mid. Upbeat, big bass, pounding drums, catchy, driving, cool. 2. *(2:41) Fast. Rockin’ hyperspeed. Surf beat, all-out driver. Quick lyrics, backing vocals. 3. (2:17) Fast. Big crunchy guitar, backing vocals. Driving and rockin’. 4. *(3:28) Mid. Mellow start with guitar, bird effects. Sappy, slightly surf-ish - the song title is ‘Capitola’. Nerdy cool. 5. (2:48) Mid. Bass solos, crunchy guitar, echoey vocals. 6. (3:02) Mid. Guitar-led. Rockin’ song about the band, America and Tokyo. Pretty funny. 7. *(2:47) Mid. INSTRUMENTAL. Bass, guitar interplay. Film noir, ominous. Hip. 8. *(3:33) Mid.
