Yet another candidate for the most misleading album title ever, “The Quiet North” is anything but quiet. This is harsh, blistering noise, a completely dissonant aberration of Scandinavian sonic destruction. If you want to torture your ears, this is the next best thing after blasting Whitehouse, Merzbow and white noise simultaneously while locked in an MRI.
