Upbeat indie rock. Falsetto vocals that remind me sometimes of the Scissor Sisters. Songs 2, 3, 4, and 7 pull you right in but the other songs are great too. FCC warning in 11, otherwise fine **1. So American (3:36)- Starts off with distant acoustic guitar strumming and eerie bells. Upbeat and cheerful **2. Floating (Time Isn’t Working My Side) (3:36)- Steady beat, pulls you right in. Oh oh ohhhhhh **3. Got it All (This Can’t Be Living Now) (3:46)- Intense and upbeat. Vocals more alive and louder **4. Senseless (3:26)- Starts right off. Buzzy surround sounds. Vocals fade off in end abruptly 5. Head is a Flame (Cool With It) (3:33)- Steady beat, slight build up to chorus 6. You Carried Us (Share With Me the Sun) (4:07)- Quick bass plucking intro. Cool section with vocals an octave apart. Distant tune **7. Everything You See (Kids Count Hallelujahs) (4:15)- Synth horns, swirling buzz surround sounds. Catchy 8. All Your Light (Times Like These) (4:26)- Dark, wavering bass and piano chords. Vocals slightly fuzzy 9. Once Was One (4:22)- Acoustic guitar strumming and airy vocals. Calm. Chorus more intense 10. Share With Me the Sun (2:44)- Slightly muffled vocals, chilling and steady. Empty hallway tune in end 11. Sleep Forever (6:21)- FCC WARNING. Says “Fucked up” at the very end.
