Kisk & Roy Gilles - One Hundred EP Label: Apparel Music

Giuseppe D'Alessandro - aka Kisk - is the owner of Apparel Music, a label based in London but with multi-cultural roots. Kisk teamed up with another fellow Italian - Roy Gilles, and their production team put out this very nice EP named "One Hundred". Mysterious name, perhaps, but it's likely that each track (118, 114, and 120) refers to their BPM. Kisk's label has a ton of great material from a wide variety of artists from all over the world - of note are a couple of big names like John Tejada & Delano Smith. This EP features some really cool beats that are highly listenable at their particular BPM. All very good.

1) Solid beat with reverberating synths in the background, deep bassline, a vocal sample saying "welcome"
2) Starts a bit more stripped-down, gets into a funky guitar loop, signature synth washes in the background, it's nice at a slower tempo
3) Tight deep house, straight-up 4/4 beat with an echo-y female vocal sample intermixed with the signature synths in the background
