The latest tape (rip) from New Jersey- based ambient producer, Sky Stadium. He sticks to his signature swollen synthy riffs, but also adapts to the cosmic synth vibes of the hosting label Sacred Phrases, which boasts a heavyweight roster of astro-travelers: M. Geddes Gengras, Hobo Cubes, and Christopher Merritt. RIYL: Boards of Canada, Motion Sickness of Time Travel, White Rainbow 1. (16:56) Cool breezy ambient with chirpy keyboard scales. The atmosphere gradually turns darker throughout the piece, and the once-sunny vibes are consumed by thuddy deep ocean currents. 2. (18:34) Wistful detail-oriented ambient—gentle washes of keyboard punctuated by splashy tropical keyboard. Minimalist, but beautiful. My personal favorite of the two. | ||
