Mathias Mesteno - "Alcatraz" - 7 oz. Records
Okay so technically this came out back in November 2010, but it's so freaking good I'm tempted to chart it every month from now until forever. It's so rare to find peak hour material that is this tasteful and subtle. The way the tension builds with a simple vocal loop and a single repeating synth note -- pure genius.
