New release from Kranky musician and Pocahaunted collaborator on the label (Emerald Cocoon) that brought us last year's popular Metal Rouge- Trails LP. Different sound here, but will probably appeal to similar DJs.
Both pieces are solo bells and voice; each is haunting, beautiful, sparse. Always have to frown on shutting down the station, but either of these would be a good last track of the night (though they are not exclusively nighttime music).
Side A (4:54): Windchimy, shimmering broken glass bells accompany breathy, dreamy, wordless female vox. Faint airplane in the background, among similar subtleties.
Side B (4:52): Bells, dreamy wordless female vox again; more haunting than the a-side.
