Timeless Pulse - Trio

An avant-jazz trio is here to kindly remind you that music can exist without logical melodic and rhythmic forms—at its most basic, it’s SOUND. So just what can sound do once unshackled by all compositional conventions? Their answer comes in the form of meditative bells and gongs emitting gorgeous, shimmering vibrations, and bleating, atonal accordion + percussion improvisation. Parts of this double-album sound as if KFJC static was being re-interpreted with acoustic instruments. Recommended for fans of Sun Ra, resonating glass, Marcel Duchamp , the sound of wind blowing through foliage, and the tortured souls of dead accordions.

But trust me, the liner notes are delightfully bizarre, so I recommend reading them sometime, especially if you are a fan of: kittens, bunnies, zen meditation, astronomy, brainwave cycles.
