Douglas Quin – Fathom LP Taiga Records Rob Cunningham Reviewed: 9/13/2014 Underwater soundscape field recordings from the Arctic and Antarctic, presented with minimal post-processing. Just as they say “the truth is stranger than fiction,” these sounds evoke an otherworldly landscape as effectively as any electronic music, despite being sounds taken straight from the natural world.
