In Homer’s Odyssey, the Lotus-Eaters were island-dwellers who consumed their local flora to remain in a perpetual state of euphoria. This is what one of those guys would listen to if he was also on a submarine and had just finished an entire bottle of Nyquil. Play any of these three sides (side D is blank; totally meta, dude) and you’ll be lured to stay in its embrace forever, just like the Ithacans. Stephen O'Malley of guitar drone stalwarts Sunn O)))) shows us his more abstract side in this band, replacing the guitar with buzzing insect noise, cavernous found-sound, lo-fi whale calls and flutes… need I say more? This is awesome. Play it now.

A. Theremin, eerie whispering, dark hallways
B. Swirls of gorgeous static chaos and disturbing industrial clanging contrast with acoustic avant-garde meditations (ooh, cello at the end?).
C. Broken shortwave radios and theremins from another dimension have officially contacted planet Earth.
