Leather-jacket metal badasses from Gainesville, FL crankin’ out some tight, aggressive thrash metal covers of Discharge, the Accused, Cannibal Corpse, etc. A strange mix, to be sure, but it’s musically cohesive and hella fun. 3. (Roky Erickson) I’m always skeptical of tharsh covers of classic rock songs, but this works quite well—not overly indulgent or too faithful to the original. Shake yer fist and knock back another cold one.

5. (Midnight) Since they got their name from this band’s song, the cover totally makes sense, and is basically flawless. Black/thrash perfection.
