| Who I might consider the king of lovely drone, epic, perfect soundscapes. Asano is a Japanese artist who is most definitely possessed by the gods of narcotic balm, drone like no other. Not “different” or even noisey, just pure tonality, the soundtrack to your best dreams. Asano enjoys recognition with the avante, academic “New Music” circles as well as “Bladderunnercore” (whatever the hell that is…) types alike. One long track, play any of it or all of it. | ||
