Straight-up Latin jazz. Conguero Sanchez pays tribute to two of his jazz heroes: Conga drummer/composer Chano Pozo and the great Dizzy Gillespe. Joining him is Grammy winner Blanchard adding some hot trumpet to the already sizzling music. Wonderful interplay between the two superstars and their band. All great stuff.

1. The fire starts w/a medley of Pozo tunes. Tropical heat/urban smooth.
2. Blanchard shines in this Dizzy pices w/varying tempos & drama.
3. Sharp trumpet blasts its way through layers of perc. Fast & furious.
4. Total jazz seduction in this classic ballad. Then it gets hot, hot hot!
5. A fun and light cha-cha-cha w/lots of playful intertwinings.
6. Dizzy’s swing tune gets a mambo makeover. And it’s a total joy.
7. Slow, sensuous. Dishy work from all, great solos, tight arrangement
8. Serious Latin funk in this mid/uptempo jam. Crank it up!
9. Stylish mid/uptempo wiggle w/solid horns & tight perc.
10. Sexy and sophisticated midtempo sway w/great solos.
11. Fast and furious fun right from the start. A total wiggle-fest.
