Singer songwriter/melancholy indie pop. This is the “pop” project of artist DeRosa, known for his ambient/psych work in Aarktica plus country/folk in Dead Leaves Rising/Pale Horse & Rider. Sounds like Leonard Cohen, Scott Walker (in the 60s, silly), maybe even Belle and Sebastian? Pleasant, easy to like; mostly lush with cellos and such. No FCCs. *1.
