Lovebirds: Keep Coming EP
Label: Freerange Records

Thoughtful and chilled-out house music that comes from Freerange Records out of the UK, the home of legendary producer Jimpster. I love this stuff. It's house music that seems to have dropped about 5 or 10 bpm, and what they put on top of it are melodic synths and warbles with vocal loops that keep things interesting. The signature mixes are those of Axel Bowman, who took Adeva's vocals and judiciously tossed them into track #3. Axel is a hot commodity right now, and it's no wonder when you can hear his remixing skills all over this EP. All good, but try 1,2.

1. Straight up Chicago-flavored deep house w/ vox & samples, thumpin' beat, neat synth loops
2. Oh so chilled-out house with nice synths
3. Fem diva vocal loop over some classy house beats
4. Mellow and loopy house, the track that #2 & 3 are based on
