Discordant rock, experimental tribal electronics. Beyond the relentless tribal beats, emphasis is on the blaring electronics, reeling guitar distortion, and double-tracked and manipulated male vocals in a narrow range. This is close to being hip, but Neptune won’t settle for a straightforward melody. Cool, strange stuff recommended for fans of King Kong Ding Dong, This Heat, and Battles. No FCCs. 1. Lots of dead space and minimal cymbal strikes. (1:30) *2. Tribal, percussive, rhythmic, reproductive ritual with plenty of ugliness. (8:02) 3.
